Our Physicians


Joseph M. Gnoyski, M.D.Joseph M. Gnoyski, M.D. earned his Bachelor of Biological Science from the University of Illinois/Chicago with top honors in 1986, and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center, recognized nationally for its excellence in primary care training, in 1991. He completed his Internship in 1992 at the Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and his residency at Loyola University Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident, in Maywood, Illinois in 1995. In 1996, Dr. Gnoyski earned his Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Gnoyski's areas of specialty in Physiatry encompass the treatment of various types of musculoskeletal and neurological problems, particularly those involving back pain, neck pain and spinal cord injuries. Cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation are provided under Dr. Gnoyski's guidance, and he performs electromyographic studies, and injection of muscles and joints throughout the body.

Currently serving as Medical Director of Summerlin Hospital's Rehabilitation Center, and as Chairperson of the Patient Safety Committee, Dr. Gnoyski also serves as Director of an in-home health organization, and on the Summerlin Hospital Medical Executive Committee. These levels of leadership give Dr. Gnoyski the opportunity to provide a full spectrum of services to patients in the community.

Dr. Gnoyski has presented research at the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Conferences. In addition, he has presented topics covering deep venous thrombosis, treatment of arthritis, and management of shoulder pain during his Grand Rounds training.

Dr. Gnoyski is a member of the American Medical Director's Association, The American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Medical Association, and the Nevada State Medical Association.

Dr. Gnoyski, his wife, Laurie, and their two daughters have lived in Las Vegas for several years.


Dr. HuynhCharlie C. Huynh, M.D. was born in Canthoi, Vietnam, and came to America as a young child. A naturalized U.S. citizen, Dr. Huynh pursued his interest in medicine at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 1995.

Continuing into medical school, Dr. Huynh graduated with his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, a university well respected for its high standards and excellent medical curriculum. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center in 2000. In June, 2003, Dr. Huynh completed his residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital of Harvard Medical School in Massachusetts.

Dr. Huynh has published several works related to disorders of the spine and spasticity, and brings additional experience in botox treatments and interventional spine procedures to our Practice. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation; the American Medical Association; the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation, and the Association of Academic Physiatrists.

Dr. Huynh has received medical licenses in Nevada, Texas and Massachusetts. He joined Rehabilitation Association of Nevada in January, 2004 as an Associate Physiatrist, and he resides in Las Vegas. He serves on the Internal Medicine and Utilization Review Committees of Summerlin Hospital Medical Center.


Dr. HuynhCurtis C. Huynh, M.D. was born in Palestine, Texas, and has lived most of his life in Houston, Texas. He graduated magna cum laude from Rice University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in 2001. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in 2002, Dr. Huynh pursued training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky, and completed his residency in June, 2005. While at the University of Louisville, he served as Chief Resident and as Secretary-Treasurer of the Medical Executive Committee of Southern Indiana Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Curtis Huynh became Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2006.

Dr. Curtis Huynh, who recently became a partner in the firm, joined Rehabilitation Association of Nevada in August, 2005. He brings with him experience in general rehabilitation care, electromyography, and interventional spine procedures. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and has contributed to their continuing medical education online program. Additionally, he is a member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists.

Dr. Huynh resides with his wife, Falana, here in Las Vegas.
